Mishuk Munier was a media specialist and broadcast journalist. He was also my favorite mentor during my school life. Mishuk Munier died in a tragic car crash in Bangladesh with renowned filmmaker Tareque Masud with three others including camera assistant and the driver. Everyone that knew Mishuk loved Mishuk. He was a man of great integrity, profound social conscience and with a deep love for people. This design project below was for an event, organized by his family and youth organization Projonmo Canada, showcasing his work in films and documentaries to celebrate his memories on his birthday. Wearing Plaid regularly along with the Nietzsche style moustache was Mishuk’s signature look. We tried to capture a little flavor of his style and personality by applying plaid pattern and combination of sketches.
Mishuk worked behind the camera on international award winning documentaries and films with Tareque Masud and Catherine Masud. The attached poster below showcases some of his work including the picture of famous Bangladeshi avant-garde artist SM Sultan during their first documentary film called "Adam Surat” about the artist’s life.
